Welcome to Stayvo Campus, an app operated by Stayvo, Inc. ("Stayvo," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stayvo Campus mobile application and related sites, products, and services (collectively, the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

To use the App, you must:
You agree to keep your information current. We may reject, suspend, or delete accounts that don't meet eligibility or violate these Terms. One account per person.
We may require email or identity verification to reduce spam and fraud. Verification confirms account ownership only; we do not run criminal background checks and make no guarantee about any user's identity or safety. Always exercise caution when interacting with others online or offline.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Stayvo Campus has absolutely no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Any violation of these terms will result in immediate account suspension or termination.
You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend/terminate accounts at our discretion.
Reporting & moderation. You can report users or content in-app. We may notify and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., photos, bios, tags, listings). By submitting content, you grant Stayvo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., for formatting), display, distribute, and otherwise use your content solely to operate, improve, and promote the App (e.g., showing profiles, recommendations, search, and safety review). You represent you have the rights to the content you post.
You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to use feedback you provide without restriction or compensation.
We may remove content that violates these Terms.
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App in accordance with these Terms. You will not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App; nor reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.
We may update or discontinue features at any time.
The App offers a Free tier and a paid Campus+ plan.
Billing.
No refunds. Except where required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable (including partial periods). Cancel monthly any time to stop future renewals.
Taxes & price changes. Prices are shown per market and may include/exclude taxes depending on location. We may update prices prospectively; we'll notify you of material changes as required.
Processor. Payments are handled by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). Your payment data is collected and processed under their terms and privacy policies.
Stayvo does not screen, endorse, or guarantee users. You are solely responsible for your interactions on and off the App. Use caution when arranging in-person meetings: meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and consider campus safety resources. Emergency services are not provided via the App. Call your local authorities in an emergency.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STAYVO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that matches, roommates, or housing outcomes will meet your expectations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STAYVO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO STAYVO FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY (OR $50 IF NO SUCH PAYMENTS WERE MADE). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stayvo and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your content; or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
The App may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors). We don't control and aren't responsible for those services. Your use of them is governed by their terms and policies.
The App, including all software, logos, and trademarks (other than your content), is owned by Stayvo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 5, no rights are granted to you.
You may delete your account at any time in settings. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, the licenses you granted remain in effect for operational and archival purposes as permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Arbitration. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will occur on an individual basis in Billings, Montana, or by video/telephone where allowed. You and Stayvo waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or consolidated proceeding. Either party may bring claims in small-claims court in lieu of arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of account creation by emailing stayvoapp@gmail.com with your full name and the email used for your account.
You are responsible for complying with local laws. You may not use the App if you are located in a country embargoed by the U.S. or if you are on any U.S. government list of restricted parties.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (e.g., in-app notice or email). Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
